Move-in day: February 21st 2021

Well, the day was exciting but it was also extremely busy and stressful. We were still sorting out stuff in the house as well as trying to fit everything into the bus. We had already filled a skip with crap and stored some items in the neighbours garage. 

The day was long, we missed lunch but got an early dinner of fish n chips instead. The house had to be cleaned as well, ready for the pre-move in inspection for our new tenants first thing the next morning. Luckily the kids were more than able to vacuum, clean windowsills, and dust everything. 

I likened the bus to a metal tent - somewhere to sleep, food to eat, but no toilet or running water. Good thing we were off to a campground with full amenities!

We had stuff stacked everywhere, as well as stuff in the car and on the back of the ute. Too much stuff, but a lot of it was things we still needed for building the bus so it had to come along. We had 3 weeks booked at the campground to get it sorted.
