First stop: Herbert Forest

8 May 2021: We chose Herbert Forest campground for our first night out on the road as we were familiar with it: we had camped here numerous times in the past in our tent. We also wanted access to water, a dump site, and power. The power was important as where we had been parked on the farm, half our days sunlight was being shaded by the tops of some trees and our batteries were getting super low, so a full night of charge put us in a good starting position. 

Coming into winter, the park was super quiet and we had a lovely night.
