Ferry crossing, and up to Levin
We had a great day for our South to North ferry crossing with Bluebridge on 20 May. We were only 10 minutes away at Koromiko and arrived with plenty of time to check in before our 2pm departure. We lined up, waiting for the check in booth to open, then got an email to say we were delayed by an hour as the ferry would be late arriving in Picton. We couldn't get out of the check in line by then, but no matter, we had our whole house available! We cooked up noodles and french toast for lunch. Not long after, we were able to check in and move into our lane, then chill.
The crossing was great, very calm, and we got to see a lovely sunset. Once we arrived in Wellington we headed straight to Plimmerton NZMCA park for the night.
