In the beginning...

 Like many New Zealand families, we had dreams of heading overseas and exploring the world.

Then COVID happened. At first, I thought it would all blow over and the world would go back to normal, and our family could head overseas for a while. Then the full picture really opened up and exploring the world was no longer an option. So, next best option, explore our backyard, the picturesque #newzealand 

The best way to do this would be by taking our accommodation along for the ride, in a bus. So the search began for something suitable to house a family of 5. We came across an ex-school bus from Central Otago, a 1993 Hino Blue Ribbon, 11.2 meters long, 10 liter diesel. Perfect!, and on 26 July 2020, it was parked in our driveway. 

We very quickly started ripping into everything inside the bus, taking it all out to make space for our new home on wheels. And that was just the beginning of our adventure...
